Eagle Point Software is looking for a high-energy and success driven Civil Engineer/Technician. The ideal candidate will value helping others and be passionate about technology. He or she will be excited to take on new challenges, be eager to become an expert on current and new technologies and software related to the design/build industry. This person will be willing to travel (less than 25%). The candidate will work well with a team even if they are a remote employee.
The candidate will be familiar with the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, Autodesk products with a strong emphasis on Civil 3D. They will become an expert on Eagle Point’s Pinnacle Series software with in-house training to be provided.
Roles and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility for the Engineer/Technician will be to create content and provide support to our clients throughout the implementation of the Pinnacle Series into their organizations. This will be accomplished by:
- Creating training content on Autodesk products
- Reviewing Autodesk beta software
- Learning now product titles to create relevant content
- Getting content input from end users, partners and owners
- Managing content development projects
- Assisting with Implementation projects
- Conducting live (internet) training sessions for clients
- Training on, Installing, and Configuring the Pinnacle Series for our clients.
- Creating custom technical content for clients within the Pinnacle Series.
- Minimum of a 2-year (4-year preferred) degree in an Engineering related field.
- 4+ years of AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience.
- Experience writing technical documents, processes, or specifications.
- Strong passion for learning new technologies in the AEC industry
- Knowledge of all Autodesk products
- Be able to train and teach others
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
